Intermedia understands the incredible strains Hurricane Ike has placed on businesses in southern Texas. Offices may be inaccessible, damaged, or destroyed. For many businesses email can be a critical communications lifeline to employees, customers, partners, and vendors. That’s why Intermedia is offering free business email from now through October 31, 2008 to Ike-affected businesses. Intermedia’s hosted Microsoft Exchange 2007-based business email services offer robust business email functionality that is accessible from MS Outlook, Entourage, or even any Web browser.
To sign up for the program, simply visit our email plans. Once you’ve selected the plan that meets the needs of your business, please call our sales team at 1-888-673-9242. Please reference code "HurricaneIke" to ensure that you will not be charged any set up or monthly fees for the service.
To qualify for the free business email continuity service, you must have a business whose primary address is located in one of the following counties in the state of Texas:
At the conclusion of the free service, businesses will have two choices. First, they can continue using Intermedia’s hosted email services, in which case they will begin incurring a monthly service fee beginning on November 1. Second, they can suspend the service, and use Intermedia’s special PST Manager tools to export their emails back to their on-premise messaging solutions.
The free business email continuity service applies to only the included hosted Exchange mailboxes with your selected plan. Optional services including additional mailboxes, mobile device connectivity, archiving and other add-ons are available for a fee, and will be immediately billable upon their activation.
