HostPilot is a powerful web-based administrative tool that allows you to manage settings and user attributes for all of your hosted Intermedia services from an integrated management console. With HostPilot, you can manage multiple applications through a single user interface, including: Microsoft Exchange; Lync Secure Instant Messaging; SharePoint 2010 document management; Microsoft Dynamics CRM; mobile device management; hosted PBX; fax; and more.

With HostPilot, you can integrate the management of your users' mobile devices quickly and easily. With a few quick mouse clicks, you can add and manage a wide range of mobile devices, including Windows Mobile, iPhone, iPad, Symbian, BlackBerry and Android all through one management console.
HostPilot is the only management console that allows you to set security and message management policies for all your mobile devices with one integrated view.
If a user’s mobile device is lost, stolen, or otherwise compromised, you can use HostPilot to perform a remote wipe so critical company data is removed. You can also deactivate devices so they no longer receive emails.

HostPilot gives you the management control you need over your cloud applications without requiring specialized expertise you would otherwise need to manage them. That means that you can delegate most set-up and management functions to non-technical staff.
With HostPilot, you can set up multiple levels of administrators within your company. For example, you could give a department’s head the ability to manage just the users in that department. Or you could delegate the administration of mobile devices to a single administrator, but disable their access to manage other services. The ability to set multiple administration levels through HostPilot gives maximum flexibility to manage and control your Intermedia hosted services.
HostPilot is easy to use, with an online Knowledge Base that provides FAQs, video tutorials and an extensive library of technical documentation. You can access the Knowledge Base through the Help menu in HostPilot or through the Support menu at www.intermedia.net.
Even though you’re delegating management, you’re not sacrificing control. Through HostPilot, you can get exportable, detailed reports of your account’s activity, including every transaction, who performed the transaction, and when the transaction occurred.

The HostPilot® Control Panel is now available as a mobile app on Android 2.1+ and iOS version 3.0+ devices –including iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. With the application, you can manage your Intermedia cloud services directly from your mobile phone.
Using mobile HostPilot, you can perform many frequent and useful transactions without being tied to your desk, including:
- Creating new Exchange mailboxes
- Resetting passwords
- Wiping a user's mobile device
- Adding or removing users from a distribution list
- Enabling Lync, PC Backup, or BlackBerry
- Accepting or rejecting users' service requests
- Backing up a mailbox (with Outlook Backup)
- Checking service status notifications
The HostPilot mobile app is free to use and easy to set up. It is available for current Intermedia customers using hosted Exchange 2007 or 2010.

After you have installed mobile HostPilot, just login with your HostPilot username and password.
