About The Role:
The Provisioning Specialist is responsible for all aspects of order management for a high volume of work orders where accuracy and proactive issue handling are essential. Orders may be complex, frequently changing, and require strong project management skills and good business judgement to independently determine best handling. Tasks per order include quality assurance checks, submitting, tracking, apprising internally and externally of status and issues, resolving problems, and completing orders for number porting, service provisioning including billing and 911 information, and number inventory management. Depending on level and product line/channel/role assigned, the specialist may handle and complete tasks on many orders within 1-2 days, or manage an average of 100-150 orders over the course of several weeks.
Depending on specific assignments, most interaction is through written order paperwork, case management systems, and written communications (i.e., email).
