About the role:

We’re looking for a QA Engineer to join our dynamic, high performing team with a focus on growing our Contact Center product.  As a very process oriented Agile shop, we employ best of breed tools like Jira, Git, automated build and deployment and constantly work to further refine our workflow. In this role, you will participate in the development of new high-quality features for the Contact Center and move our quality assurance processes forward.

What you will be doing:

  • Collaborate with Development and Product groups to define and understand the team's quality assurance needs
  • Analyze product design and requirements specifications and translate them into detailed, methodical testing strategy
  • Design and develop test automation frameworks using Java, Selenium and TestNG
  • Perform manual tests as needed of hot new features and functionality
  • Document, report, and track software defects using Atlassian's Jira software

What you will bring to the role:

  • 3+ years of QA experience in a complex software development environment
  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Understanding and knowledge in industry-standard testing methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Expertise in developing test cases/scripts
  • Experience working with at least one programming or scripting languages such as C#, Java, or JavaScript
  • Experience writing automated tests with traditional tools, frameworks and techniques (Selenium, Maven, JUnit, Cucumber, Bitbucket, API, backend)
  • Experience with IDE plugin development and design (IntelliJ IDEA)
  • Experience with Jira, Jenkins, and Git
  • Ability to create and use SQL queries to perform data validation
  • Experience with UI, cross browser and responsiveness testing
  • Excited about BDD, automated deployment, fixing bugs and shipping code
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
  • Identify, record and track bugs. Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
  • Independent, fast-learning, self-starter who takes ownership over solving problems
