Intermedia Hosts Inaugural Partner Conference

Intermedia hosted its first Partner Summit in New York on March 5th and 6th.  Our most successful Private Label providers exchanged ideas around industry, marketing and technical trends.  The event was a tremendous opportunity to meet the faces of IT specialists, owners of local MSP and ISPs and executives from billion-dollar corporations – the very lifeline responsible for Intermedia’s tremendous growth in the face of economic challenges and SaaS opportunities.  The Summit also represented a milestone in the evolution and growth of Intermedia as a company.  Simply put, our partner program and ecosystem is core to Intermedia, a fact reflected in our platform, technology and partner-focused company structure.

You may ask, “Why now, in 2009, a time of dire economic predictions?”  We would answer that regardless of economic conditions, our partners’ opportunities and individual growth rates are exploding, and therefore Intermedia is investing heavily in our partners’ success.  In 2008 alone, Intermedia had well over 100% growth in hosted Exchange and related collaboration services, becoming the world’s largest provider of Exchange hosting.  Much of this success stems from the efforts of more than 3,000 Private Label partners.  The entire Summit was focused on exchanging ideas, on learning from one another, and on helping our partners succeed.

By all indications, the Summit was a resounding success.  Virtually all of our top partners attended, as well as much of Intermedia’s Executive, Business Development, Sales, Product Management and Operations staff.  More importantly, the feedback we received will help shape our product roadmap, marketing strategies and other aspects of our offerings.  We know that our partners’ expertise and reputation, in combination with our technology, will continue to drive decisions to migrate essential infrastructure to a SaaS delivery model.  And our partners know that Intermedia is deeply and irrevocably committed to their success.  Thank you again to all who attended and to all who help us continue to grow.
