Intermedia Launches Mobile App for End Users to Manage Cloud Service Settings on the Go
Company Furthers Mobility Foothold in Cloud Services Market
Intermedia, a global leader in cloud services and the largest Microsoft Exchange hosting provider, today announced the company’s proprietary end-user control panel – My Services – is now available as a mobile app. Mobile My Services enables end users of Intermedia’s cloud services – such as Exchange email and Lync instant messaging – to simply and securely manage settings such as their passwords, contact information and “out of office” message. The app also features an automatic email configurator to walk users through the set up and configuration of hosted Exchange email on their iPhone.

The mobile app is available on iPhone and iPod Touch devices with iOS version 3.0+. Versions for iPad and other mobile platforms will be released in the future.
Using mobile My Services, end users can securely perform many common and useful transactions on the go from their mobile device, including:
- Changing their password and contact information
- Changing and setting their out of office message for their email
- Setting up a photo to be used as a personal avatar for Outlook and Lync Secure Instant Messaging

With My Services mobile app and HostPilot mobile app both administrators and their employees can manage Intermedia cloud services on the go. Both mobile apps are free to use and easy to set up. They are available for current Intermedia customers using hosted Exchange 2007 and Exchange 2010.
