- First, you give us an inventory of users. You can extract it from Active Directory or export a .CSV from other systems. If your directory server is also down, we can send you a template to fill out manually.
- Then we create mailboxes for all your users on our system. This takes a few minutes per mailbox.
- While this is happening, we’ll work with you to change your MX records to point to our servers. This will redirect your mail flow to our servers.
- Now that your mailboxes are created and your MX records updated, your users can now send and receive mail. All they have to do is access their mailboxes on our server via the Outlook Web App on Intermedia’s cloud. Using any browser or device, they can instantly start sending and receiving new messages.
We’ll stay in constant communication with you during this part of the process. You’ll know exactly what is happening and when—which, when you have an entire organization waiting impatiently for email to return, is very comforting.
Once the pressure’s off, it’s time to recover your data
