Migration: Part I of the hidden costs of Exchange providers

I hate moving.

Email migration can be costly if your provider doesn’t include it as a complimentary service.  Many providers will often charge for assisted migration or force you to use DIY tools that are cumbersome and difficult to use. Some bypass it altogether requiring you to work with third-party providers.
