Intermedia Appoints Microsoft Senior Executive, Eric Martorano, as New Sales Leader
We’re pleased to share the appointment of Eric Martorano as Intermedia’s new Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Eric comes to us from Microsoft®, where he developed, launched and managed industry leading channel partner programs, as their General Manager of US Partner Sales.
Welcoming a new face as our head of sales
While we’re sad to see Doug Johnson go back to his CEO roots, we’re excited to further invest in our partner community and Microsoft relationship. Mike Gold, our CEO, sums up our feelings perfectly:

When I asked Eric what the deciding factor was in making the move to Intermedia, he had this to say:

Eric Martorano’s background
Eric brings with him more than 20 years of sales and marketing expertise, the past 8+ years of which were with Microsoft. There, Eric was responsible for $17B+ in commercial revenue, in addition to leading Microsoft’s partner community, and assisting some of their largest partners worldwide in their successful transformation to the cloud.
Eric has a 360-degree view of what being a channel partner is all about, which makes him a perfect fit for Intermedia’s channel-first culture. His experience includes everything from working for a small VAR in Southern California, a tier-2 distribution at Ingram Micro, and notable vendors such as Sage Software. He also holds an active seat on CompTIA’s Board of Directors. Eric earned an MBA from Pepperdine University and a bachelor’s degree from California State University, Northridge.
