Intermedia Takes the Field in New Partnership with The San Jose Earthquakes

Today, we kicked-off a unique multi-year partnership with the San Jose Earthquakes, which will feature Intermedia’s branding across all team jerseys and include the exclusive use of our technology for all business communications within the Quakes organization.

The Quakes are Silicon Valley’s soccer club, so partnering with Intermedia, an innovative cloud communications company, also based in the heart of Silicon Valley, creates tremendous opportunity for both of our organizations.

At Intermedia, we have ambitious goals for 2020 and beyond, and our partnership with the Quakes will help drive greater awareness for our products, services, and partner programs across the country. The growth in popularity of MLS is incredible, but not surprising given its passionate and diverse fanbase from across the globe. In fact, it’s the fastest growing sports league in North America, with more than 100M soccer fans in the U.S. alone, and an average of 21K fans in attendance at every match. We’re excited to share our story with this large, and growing audience.

As part of this partnership, the Quakes will deploy Intermedia solutions throughout their organization, including the all-in-one communications and collaboration platform, Intermedia Unite, that features voice, chat, and video conferencing, as well as Intermedia Contact Center, with the goal of delivering more efficient and informed conversations and decisions between its players, staff, and its fans.

At 1p PT today, we will be joining Earthquakes’ leadership, players, and staff to unveil the new 2020 season jerseys on center circle at Earthquakes’ stadium, along with members of the media and our own Sunnyvale Employees.
