Q: Why is Intermedia going to stop selling Office 365 standalone?
A: Last year we introduced Office 365 bundled with essential Intermedia applications. Since the launch, many of our Office 365 sales through our partners have been standalone with no additional Intermedia applications. With many distributors selling Office 365 standalone at heavy discounts and very low profitability, we have made the decision to focus our offering on bundles only and to stop selling the standalone version. Effective November 1, 2017, we will remove the option to sell Office 365 standalone.
Q: What Office 365 email bundles will be available from Intermedia?
A: Partners can continue to sell Office 365 email with an add-on service. A full list of those services can be found in the tables below.

Q: Why should I sell Office 365 with additional services?
A: For our PLR partners, enhancing Office 365 with additional services provides the following benefits:

- Create differentiated and stickier Office 365 offers with white-labeled applications customers can’t get anywhere else
- Increase margins and monthly revenue with managed service opportunities
Q: Where can I learn more about these additional services?

Q: What if I have an Office 365 email standalone deal in process, can I still sell it to them?
A: You have until November 1st to close the business. After Nov. 1st you will no longer be able to sell standalone Office 365 email to new accounts.
Q: What about my current accounts who need to add more Office 365 standalone seats?
A: You may add additional standalone Office 365 seats to existing accounts beyond the 30-day transition period.
Q: Will anything change with my existing Office 365 accounts?
A: No, nothing will change for them. We will continue to provide the service they are subscribed to. As mentioned above you/they can add new Office 365 standalone seats or bundled seats to existing accounts if needed.
Q: What about Office Apps?
A: This announcement does not impact Intermedia’s Office Apps offering. You will still be able to sell both as a standalone product and bundled with our Exchange Email services.
