Intermedia Makes Outlook 2010 Available to Customers and Partners

The software, and upgrades to its latest version, are included free in select Intermedia hosted Exchange plans.

Hosted Exchange is necessary to power Outlook’s top collaboration features, such as calendar sharing and full wireless syncing with smartphones. Key Outlook 2010 features are only available on Exchange 2010 – the latest version. Intermedia was the first to launch hosted Exchange 2010 and remains the leading provider.

Companies that use Intermedia's hosted instant messaging service – Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 R2 – will also benefit from integration to Outlook 2010. Users can view their colleague’s free/busy status right from Outlook and initiate chat or video sessions.
