Intermedia, the world’s largest Microsoft Exchange hosting provider, today enhanced its HostPilot® Control Panel with tools that focus on usability and provide customers additional control over their hosted Exchange and overall business communications platform. The update is part of Intermedia’s continued commitment to simplifying the management of technology for small businesses and the channels that serve them.
Part of HostPilot Control panel release 1.53, the new tools save customers time by securely extending additional administrative controls over the set-up and management of business email and other communications tools. The features are immediately available to all Intermedia customers.
HostPilot Control Panel provides business owners and IT managers with a single point of control over their Intermedia-hosted communications services. Its intuitive features enable complex Exchange administration – such as remotely wiping data from a lost BlackBerry Wireless Handheld™ – to be delegated to non-technical staff.
Highlights of the release include:
- Enhanced tools to accelerate new customers’ migration to Exchange 2010 from their current email environment.
- Upgrades to the current customer notification tools continuing the company’s commitment to proactive communication and transparency around service performance in the cloud.
- Improvements to the Intermedia Partner Portal, including an enhanced Lookup/View Account page – making it simpler for partners to manage multiple accounts with Intermedia.
