The Lead Development Sales Representative will be responsible for delivering quality, sales-ready leads to our account executive team through the qualification of inbound leads and outbound prospecting. As a lead development representative you are on Intermedia’s front lines. You will be the first point of contact for direct inbound prospects in the early stages of the buying process. You will also act as a triage point for existing customers contacting Intermedia through our website. In addition to the lead development responsibilities noted above, this role will also be responsible for all sales activities (opportunity qualification, quoting, ordering and post sales follow up) with respect to incoming Intermedia AnyMeeting leads, Trusted Advisor Program (TAP) leads and inbound Chat opportunities.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Manage and respond to inbound requests from prospective or existing customers.
  • Identify and develop new opportunities for our account executives to pursue through qualification of inbound leads stemming from chats, emails, and phone calls.
  • Assess the prospect’s needs and business challenges and present relevant Intermedia solutions.
  •  Effectively deliver Intermedia’s differentiators and comprehensive cloud solution to new prospects.
  • Smoothly route inbound existing customers contacting us through our website to the appropriate resource or sales representative.
  • Learn and maintain exceptional knowledge of Intermedia’s solutions and value.
  • Leverage Intermedia’s existing content and technical knowledge base to assist customers with their requests.
  • Maintain detailed records of communication in Salesforce.
  • Maintain our SLA through quick and frequent follow up with leads.
  • Outbound prospecting to contacts provided by the Marketing team.
  • Develop and drive AnyMeeting leads to closure
  • Assist with, develop and close TAP leads as they are identified by our support agents assisting existing accounts

What you will bring to the role:

  • 3 plus years of experience in Channel/Direct Sales and/or account management required and a Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Desire to learn and improve skills
  • Passion for the sales process and role
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in highly dynamic, fast paced working environment where self-motivated individuals succeed
  • Experience working with databases, specifically Salesforce.com or other similar CRM
  • Capacity to multi-task while focusing on each task in great detail
