World’s first provider of hosted MS Exchange 2007 celebrates product’s first year on the market, offers free migration to new customers

The world's first hosted Microsoft Exchange 2007 service has been on the market for over one year, since its launch by Intermedia, the leader in business email services. To commemorate the anniversary of this launch, Intermedia is offering free migration to any new customers who upgrade from their current hosted Exchange 2003 provider to Intermedia's Exchange 2007 service.

Intermedia launched Exchange 2007 hosting months before competitors - many of whom are still not able to provide Exchange 2007 as a service. For this reason, Intermedia is offering free migration to customers who switch from other hosted Exchange providers to Intermedia's well-tested infrastructure. The free migration offer will give small and medium businesses the latest in email and collaboration technology by moving immediately to a fully-managed Exchange 2007 service.

"With Intermedia hosted Exchange 2007 at its one-year mark and Service Pack 1 launched recently, adoption of Exchange 2007 hosting is rapidly growing," said Rurik Bradbury, VP Strategy for Intermedia. "That is why we are committed to making migration as easy as possible for our new customers."

Intermedia's hosted Exchange 2007 service includes the new and upgraded features of Exchange 2007, as well as wireless email access through the latest devices like the BlackBerry, Treo or any Windows Mobile device. Companies looking to upgrade their company to the latest in email and collaboration software, but who wish to avoid the headaches and costs associated with managing the upgrade internally, should consider a hosted Exchange environment.
